વેદનો પરિચય આપનારાઓને નાનપણથી સાંભળતો આવ્યો છે. કેટલાકનો પરિચય મૂળ કરતાં પણ દુબોધ અને અઘરો થઈ જાય છે. એ જોઈને હું કહેતો કે, આ લોકો વેદનો બોજ ઉઠાવે છે. આપણા વિષ્ણુદેવ પંડિત વેદને પચાવી શક્યા છે. તેથી એમની પાસેથી જે વેદ-પરિચય મળે છે તે વેદ સમજવા માટે અત્યંત ઉપયોગી છે જ, પણ તેથી વિશેષ વેદની એમની વાણીથી ઉત્સાહ પેદા થાય છે. શ્રમમાંથી જે શ્રી પેદા કરે છે તે શ્રમ આશ્રમને લાયક છે, બાકીના બધા શ્રમો થકવે છે. હું સ્પષ્ટ જોઉં છું કે વિષ્ણુદેવે વેદ ઉપર પરિશ્રમ કરી વૈદિક ઋષિઓના આશીર્વાદ મેળવ્યા છે અને તેથી જ એમના લખાણમાંથી આપણને પ્રસન્નતાની શ્રી મળે છે. રવિશંકર મહારાજ કહે છે...
