Synopsis
Pallavi Bani Parvati
Pallavi, a dancer at bars, is forced to masquerade as Parvati (a widow) to work as a maidservant in the Mehta household, ruled over strictly by the matriarch Hansa, who had broken off Palvi’s sister’s engagement. And now the fun starts. Whatever Pallavi/Parvati does, keeps backfiring. While she wins the sympathy of Dhansukh Mehta, who was to have married her sister, Shrikant, the elder divorced son of the Mehtas, has fallen in love with Parvati. Now Pallavi/Parvati has her hands and heart full. She has to somehow save her sister’s marriage and may be get married herself. Why not? A play with lots of fun and eotions…
